It was with great joy and recognition that I was honored to receive the Young Creator Award, presented by the Rotary Club of Rambouillet at the 16th Biennial of Animal Sculpture and Painting, on October 12. This prize marks a high point in my career as an artist, rewarding the body of work I exhibited at this prestigious event.
Among the works presented were :
- Breathe (60x40 cm) - A striking portrait of a gorilla, delicately holding gold leaf in its hand. This work captures the quiet power of this majestic animal, blending tenderness and brute strength.
- The Lion King (90x60 cm) - A large portrait of a lion, symbolizing the majesty and royalty of the king of the savannah. Every pencil stroke pays tribute to his imposing gaze and noble bearing.
- Alpine Elegance (70x50 cm) - A portrait of an ibex, an ode to the beauty of the mountains and the resilience of this creature that embodies balance and grace.
These works reflect my passion for nature and my desire to immortalize moments of deep connection with wildlife, while highlighting the fragility of our environment.
This award is a precious recognition, not only for the artistic work I pursue every day, but also for the messages I hope to convey through my drawings. I'd like to thank the Rotary Club de Rambouillet for this award, as well as the organizers of the Biennale, who continue to offer wildlife artists a space to express their unique vision.
I invite you to explore these works and many more in my portfolio, to discover a world where art and nature are one.
